Dark Star Society Garlic produces deep green, narrow leaves - darker and more uniform than the variegated form - with a garlic scent and deep purple flowers on tall stems over a long flowering season from spring through autumn. The flower colour is a rich, saturated purple, stronger in tone than the lavender-purple of the standard varieties. Full sun. Well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established.
