Navelina is the early navel - a Spanish variety that ripens ahead of Washington, typically from late April into May in Perth. The fruit is sweet, seedless, easy to peel, and slightly smaller than Washington. For gardeners who want fresh navel oranges as early in the season as possible, or who want to pair Navelina with a later variety to extend the harvest, this is the one to plant.
