Magenta Ice Plant is a prostrate, fast-spreading succulent mat producing vivid, satiny magenta-pink flowers that open fully in direct sunlight and close at night. The flowers have an almost iridescent quality in strong light - bright and jewel-like rather than soft and painterly. One of the toughest and most colourful flowering succulents for Perth's dry, sunny conditions. Full sun - the flowers only open fully in direct sun. Excellent drainage. Extremely drought tolerant. Spreads quickly to cover ground.
