Graptoveria Paraquayense
Graptoveria is a hybrid genus crossing Graptopetalum and Echeveria, producing rosette-forming succulents that inherit the best qualities of both parents - the plump, geometric form of Echeveria with the hardiness and colour intensity of Graptopetalum. They are among the easier rosette succulents for Perth gardens and pots, tolerating more heat and neglect than pure Echeveria. Full sun to bright indirect light. Excellent drainage. Water thoroughly then allow to dry completely before watering again. Minimal fertiliser. Paraquayense produces compact rosettes in soft silver-blue to lavender tones - one of the cooler-coloured Graptoverias, the silvery quality giving it an almost iridescent appearance in good light. The leaves are slightly thicker and more plump than some Graptoveria varieties.
