Sugar Plum Raspberry Dianthus produces fragrant, deeply fringed flowers in a rich, saturated raspberry-pink - a stronger, more vivid colour than the coral form and one that reads warmly against grey foliage or pale stone. The flowers are produced over a compact, low mound from late autumn through spring in Perth. The fragrance is a genuine cut flower quality - sweet and clove-like, most noticeable in the morning. Full sun. Well-drained soil. Deadhead regularly to extend the display. Feed lightly in spring.
