Blueberry Misty Blue
Misty Blue is a Southern Highbush blueberry variety selected for its lower chill requirement - it does not need as many cold winter hours as Northern Highbush varieties, which makes it better suited to Perth's mild winters than many blueberry cultivars. The fruit is large, mild-flavoured, and good for fresh eating, with a long picking season through summer. Like all blueberries, it requires acidic soil or potting mix (pH 4.5-5.5). Full sun. Water regularly. Feed with acid-forming fertiliser. Plant alongside Sunshine Blue for cross-pollination and improved yields.
