Caruba Black is among the darkest-leaved Cordylines available - the upright, sword-shaped leaves are near-black, creating one of the strongest contrast plants in the strappy category. The colour is most intense in good light and remains consistent year-round. It grows to around 1-1.5m and suits contemporary gardens, dark foliage schemes, and positions where a bold vertical accent in a very dark tone is wanted. Full sun to part shade. Well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established. Remove dead outer leaves periodically.
