Baby Sunrose is one of Perth's most reliably tough succulent groundcovers - a fast-spreading mat of fleshy, bright green leaves covered in small, vivid pink-red flowers almost continuously through the warmer months. It colonises bare ground quickly, handles sandy soils and dry conditions with ease, and tolerates coastal salt and wind without complaint. An excellent choice for slopes, banks, and large dry areas where coverage and colour are the goals. Full sun. Sandy, well-drained soil. Extremely drought tolerant once established. Can spread vigorously - manage edges if planting near paving.
