A WA native genus with distinctive silky, soft-textured foliage and small tubular flowers that feed birds and insects throughout the year. Adenanthos - particularly the coastal forms - is exceptionally well-adapted to Perth's sandy coastal conditions. Full sun. Sandy, well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established. Phosphorus-free native fertiliser. Minimal pruning - tip prune to keep bushy.
