Eremophila Allara
Allara Emu Bush is a spreading, groundcover eremophila growing to around 30-50cm tall and spreading considerably wider - up to 2m in good conditions. It produces tubular flowers over a very long season, and its spreading, low habit makes it outstanding for banks, slopes, and positions where low-maintenance coverage is the goal. It is one of the tougher eremophilas - more adaptable to garden soils than some of the more demanding species forms, and more tolerant of the occasional heavy watering. Full sun. Well-drained soil - good drainage remains important. Phosphorus-free fertiliser. Very drought tolerant once established.
